“There’s usually an oink or a cluck coming from somewhere,” commented Montgomery, filling up the trough with water and picking hay out of his overalls. “And I can’t forget the mooing and the baaing, no sir! My silly barnyard companions always have something to say.”

Reportedly, Montgomery loves giving some of the smaller animals rides on the back of his bright red tractor.

“Sometimes at night, I take out my fiddle and play a little jig for the donkeys,” continued Montgomery, expertly milking a cow and adjusting his straw hat. “Boy, do we have fun. There’s never a quiet moment here at the barnyard!”

At press time, the family house attached to the farm was a quiet, serious, and stern place.
