Posting a photo of bundled students walking through Faunce Arch with the caption “Brrr, winter on College Hill!” the account dutifully let the Brown community know that it is currently the year’s coldest season.

“We love tailoring our content to reflect the weather,” said Brown social media manager Peter Lenato. “So right now a lot of our posts are about the fact that it’s winter.”

The post on Wednesday followed dozens of others since December which have notified followers that Brown is currently experiencing the usual effects of winter, including snow, chilly temperatures, and the need to wear winter clothes. “Tomorrow we’re planning to post a picture with the caption ‘Stay warm Brunonians!’” Lenato said.

“And when spring rolls around, you bet we’ll post a shot of some flowers!”
