“Lollipops are fine,” stated CIT coordinator Murphy Scott. “But you know what’s better? Foot-long, turkey-filled, lettuce brimming, mayonnaise oozing submarine sandwiches. The CIT can be such a stressful atmosphere for students and offering them lollipops gave them a quick, easy burst of positivity. We think offering subs will serve the same purpose."

The subs will be kept in the same bowls that used to contain the lollipops and, during a test-run of the new initiative, students were frequently seen grabbing one before heading to work in the Sun Lab. Some on-the-go students were even observed taking two so that they could save one for later.

At press time, every computer keyboard in the CIT was covered in mayonnaise residue.
