“It started with the burgers,” explained Dave, “One day in the kitchen I had the idea to make them a little bit smaller. The next day at the wedding we were catering, the people went wild. Ever since that first hit of success, I haven’t been able to stop myself from seeing how much smaller I can make the food we serve.”

“I was at the wedding when they first debuted their version of sliders,” recalled Cynthia Jones, a guest at the event. “People were pleased, because they could finally fit their mouths around the food in one bite. But things have really gone down since then. I have to bring my glasses just to be able to find the bruschetta on the platter.”

“Last week at a luncheon they catered, they brought out whole lobster tails,” said Marcia Taylor, another customer. “They were so tiny, they looked like little cheetos on the plate. I didn’t know you could find lobsters that small. They also just used hollowed out oyster crackers as miniature bread bowls.”

At press time, Davilo was seen using a magnifying glass to arrange a tray of bridal shower themed cupcakes.
