“Police corruption will not be tolerated in our city. I’m putting this criminal behind bars for the safety of our community,” Malgarn told reporters as he handcuffed the police officer, read her her Miranda rights, and told her that she’ll be going away for a very long time. “I love having the power of the law behind me on this one. Every cop undercover as a drug dealer that is put behind bars makes our streets a little safer for our citizens.”

The arrested cop undercover as a drug dealer, Mary Shrapper, allegedly sold Oxycontin to drug dealer-undercover-as-cop Malgarn on multiple occasions. When he arrested her, Malgarn seized from Shrapper codeine and a functional police radio.

“I’m a police officer,” said Shrapper from the back of Malgarn’s police car. “This man has no legal right to do this. I am confused.”

As of press time, Malgarn had been arrested by Shrapper for unlawfully arresting a police officer.
