“When I first found out housing," recalled Cindy Lei. "I was so excited! And then to be able to meet people through GroupMe? Incredible. But then Julie started posting. My phone would go off at all hours of the night with her asking the group what classes they were taking, and where they were getting their comforters. Now she just knocks on my door and does the same thing.”

“She sent out get-to-know-you polls every other day, and when we went to the first unit meeting together, she was excited to start the icebreaker. And she had all her answers ready!” reported other Unit member Mark Hernandez.

“She seems to think we’ll all be super close,” Hernandez continued. “She was hounding everyone over the summer to see if they were in the same FYS as her, and now that we’ve gotten here, she keeps hounding people to get fake IDs with her. I should’ve known.”

At press time, Julie was still using the completely inactive GroupMe to ask if anyone wanted to go to Waterfire together.
