“I’m, like, basically from Boston, so this past winter barely fazed me,” Baylor was heard saying while tugging at his Red Sox jersey. “So excited it’s baseball season, though. There’s no MLB team in Ulaanbaatar, and Fenway is the closest ballpark to Mongolia, so we’re all Sox fans.”

“Yeah, he’s not actually from our city,” said Sam McDermott, administrator of the Brown Club of Boston Facebook group, which Baylor keeps trying to join. “He always tries to say ‘clam chowder’ in a fake Boston accent and we’re just like, ‘chill bro.’”

When asked about his hometown, Baylor told sources, “I mean, I don’t live in the city, per se, but I’ve been there a bunch. I just love taking the T in and chilling in Boston Commons.

“What can I say? Boston is my home,” finished Baylor, who flies the 6,245 miles back to Ulaanbataar every break.

At press time, Baylor was watching “Good Will Hunting” for the 30th time.
