“Look! Look! Can you believe I just got these headphones?” Gracie stated, holding a piece of technology that has not seen the light of day in at least two and a half decades. “I literally cannot believe it! They will connect perfectly to my walkman too, what a good day!”

“I also just got a new flip phone, it's really cool!” Gracie continued despite the fact that her new phone was, in fact, a decade old and non-functioning. “Wait hold on, I’m still writing a text, just give me a few minutes.”

“I picked up some books to read from the library,” Gracie continued as if she doesn’t know that there are far superior forms of modern entertainment. “I’ve been thinking of getting a kindle, but I’ll probably buy some books at the used bookstore instead.”

At press time, Gracie’s wired headphones were hanging from the same carabiner as her labubu.
