""Is-thay icture-pay as-way omething-say at-thay as-hay een-bay orked-way on-ay-I'm not sure how to do on yet-onay or-fay ears-yay nd-aay-can't do and either-ow-nay ere-way aking-may e-thay ovie-may,"" said Gibson about his new film.

He went on to say he found Pig Latin ""un-fay"" and that he believed the movie would be ""uccessful-say"".

Jewish organization The Jewish Defense League released a statement of outrage opposing the film only hours after Gibson's press conference. The statement said, ""Mel Gibson's chronic anti-Semitic behavior is inexcusable and has not been solved. It first surfaced with 'The Passion of the Christ' and has resurfaced with 'Ourth-Fay Ade-Gray.' Gibson is completely aware that the pig is not a kosher animal. He is also aware that this very fact alienates the Jewish people in their viewing of this film, yet he is going ahead with production as if we mean nothing. 6000 years, and we mean jack squat? No, he's wrong. Everyone knows he's wrong. Even my brother Murray knows he's wrong.""

When asked to reply, Gibson said, ""e-thay equila-tay ixed-may ith-way e-thay Ñgermeister-jay aused-cay it-ay.""`

The new film begins production this week and is scheduled to be released Christmas of next year. Gibson has left his usual studio, MGM, saying he feels Miramax sounds better in Pig Latin."
