“A Brown education is totally worth the price tag,” said Brennan, whose two concentrations teach her about the nuances of both books and movies. “Freshman year, I was only studying books. But I found movies so interesting that I decided to double concentrate — which makes the investment even more worth it!”
“The advantage of the open curriculum is that I have the freedom to take courses in both departments,” added Brennan, confident that paying an amount that most families don’t even make in a year to take classes about books and movies is a smart financial decision that is greatly enhancing her intellect. “In one department, I learn about all sorts of books — big books, small books, you name it. And in the other? I learn about movies! Long movies, short movies, and everything in between!”
At press time, Brennan was excited to take a RISD course where she can learn all about pictures.
