“Ryan has been and always will be a source of love and happiness in this family,” said Kennaugh McKinnon, who, with his wife Oaklynn, named his children using strings of nonsense syllables. “Adopting him was Oaklynn’s idea, and I was initially against it. Now, seeing how much joy he brings to our kids, Aaden, Paisleigh, Kellyynn, and Parkyr, I can’t imagine Ryan not being here.”

“Ryan is just the most adorable thing!” said Paisleigh McKinnon, oblivious to the fact that her dog has the only name in the family that can be easily pronounced. “He’s such a sweetie!”

At press time, the McKinnons were heard repeatedly mispronouncing the name Kamala.
