Man Removed from Apple Store after Taking the New iTouch Too Literally

The misunderstanding ostensibly had to do with Apple's newest product, known as the iTouch.

Sales representative Martin Hall was the first Apple employee to observe the disturbance. "No you cannot touch. Please stop touching that lady. Now you are touching me. No, you cannot. You have to stop," Hall remembers telling the perpetrator. According to reports, however, Hall's reasoned argument fell upon deaf ears.

The man continued his groping for over 10 minutes until the Providence Police arrived on scene.

"Ya, it was pretty ugly in there," Officer Donald Herman told reporters, "but that's why we wear cups."
