“I think the review began with a Kante quote,” reported an astonished Laura O’Neill, who added that the course description was chalk full of fanciful prose. “I was just looking to learn about the course difficulty, but the review took me on an epic journey through the structure of the class.”

“The moniker of “professor” fails to do Harrison justice,” the review described. “He is an ever patient and responsive navigator, piloting the class through the stormy seas of the statistical. Confidently at the helm, Harrison guides his pupils through the myriad and mysterious applications of modern statistical methods. However, just as Harrison proves himself to his students, they, in turn, must prove themselves to him.”

O’Neill reports that the homeric review placed an emphasis on student engagement.

“Success in the course does not materialize from an arbitrary void," said the review, "But rather is wrought through effort, exertion, and, moreover dedication to the journey. On each of the 10 homework assignments, students must wrestle with critical course concepts in the muddy pools delimited by the boundaries of their imagination and understanding. They will inevitably emerge forever changed, and stronger than before.”

“Storm hardened," it continued. "The class must face the a culminating set of trials: three take home exams and one final exam. Grades are hard won, but deserved.”

“I was mesmerized by the poetry of the review,” O’Neill reported. “But, honestly, I was sorta put off by the 10 hours of coursework a week so I’m going to take ‘Cooking Writing’ instead.”
