According to friends, Richardson has been sporadically checking the Wikipedia page for “Dab (dance)” all week in an effort to ensure that it’s as up-to-date and comprehensive as possible – an obvious sign that things have not been going well at work.

Richardson reportedly first became interested in making sure that the section documenting politicians dabbing was properly annotated when his longtime girlfriend broke up with him.

“I don’t know the person who wrote this, but I hope they’re doing ok,” said Kayla McAirn, a woman who stumbled upon the article while browsing Wikipedia. “I just feel like there must be someone I’m supposed to call or something. I’m worried about this guy.”

On the article’s discussion page, Richardson argues with other people at absolute rock bottom over whether there should be a separate section in the article devoted to controversies over the dab.

“The other day, some kid vandalized the article,” said Richardson’s close friend Fatima Amir. “It wasn’t a big deal. Just a few joke edits, but Harris really took it hard. We had dinner the night of the vandalism and he didn’t talk at all. It was like his soul had left his body.”

At press time, site administrators locked the article to further edits.
