The Brown Noser is Brown University’s oldest satirical newspaper. It was founded in 2006 by a group of bored freshman who weren’t content with the journalism opportunities at Brown. So they set off and decided to start their own. It wasn’t easy. They faced obstacles much more difficult than late articles, failed computers, and printing issues. But they overcame the temple guards, torrential rains, and the release of the Nintendo Wii to create The Brown Noser.

The Noser is a serious news source in which most of what you read is false. Consider it the mocking and jeering of Brown and everything it encompasses. Don’t get them wrong; they love Brown as much as anyone. They just feel that some issues can be taken a little less seriously, and they are going to try their best to promote that.
