After a great fall season, ABC has announced a new show coming to the network next year featuring live footage of highly invasive, and risk-intensive surgeries. Not much is known about the plot, but expectations are high.
“Finally,” gushes tv fanatic, Avery Schwartz. “A hospital drama without all the boring talking and stuff!”
“I loved Grey’s Anatomy,” seconds Lisa Boettcher. “But the plots would always get so derailed by characters’ personal lives. I just wanted to see the surgeries firsthand and gain a deeper understanding of the human body and the medical profession.”
“At first we were a little apprehensive,” remarks ABC Vice President, Brenda Kelly Grant. “But the focus groups have been only positive. It’s raw, it’s edgy, it’s exciting. People can’t get enough of our spring programming.”
Rumor has it that Shonda Rhimes is behind the creation, but sources have not yet confirmed.
