I've been dying to try out this banana strudel recipe I found on RecipeZaar, but I read in the comments section that a plantain is mostly interchangeable, so I think we'll be okay. I just have to go check and see if I have I have enough vanilla extract and butter, then we'll be having quite a dessert tonight!
That wasn't the dessert you had in mind? Oh … is it the strudel? Is strudel problematic? Do you not like strudel? I'm sorry, I didn't even think - what about a cream pie? Cupcakes? A mousse? I could definitely whip something else up.

After my friend Suzanne hosted that Cuisinart/Pampered Chef party, I ordered so many gadgets that the kitchen practically runs itself! Would you believe I even have a corn butterer, a juicer, a zester and flexible funnels?

I clipped a coupon for kale from the Pennysaver last week; I'd be happy to give it to you - to be honest, I'm still up to my ears in kale! I thought I'd exhaust my supply faster than I did.
Yes, I can totally imagine that it would take you hours to finish!! My goodness, I'd say using up decently-sized bundle of kale might even take me days. Because I basically only have two go-to kale recipes, and I can get tired of them. There's only so many ways to do it, you know.

That's amazing news; I've been trying to work more dark greens into my diet ever since Whole Foods started labeling their products with the "ANDI" nutrition rating system and I saw kale and collard greens tie for first place. I love ties. It's like everybody wins.
Great, but what would you tie me in? We could have a watermelon eating contest, I suppose … play Parcheesi … or Mouse Trap … But I don't know if we'd be equally matched for Mouse Trap. I catch the mouse every time. I DOMINATE in that game.
