Area Man Throws An Exclamation Point At The End Of Password Just To Be Safe

Published Friday, September 14th, 2018

Nodding his head proudly as he typed out his new computer password, area man Alan Corey threw an exclamation point at the end of the password just to be safe. “My password is usually just my initials followed by my birth date,” reported Corey, confidently typing out his new password a second time to confirm it. “But if I pop an exclamation point at the end, now that’s a twist. It’s an added level of security. I mean, who would guess I’d throw a symbol in there when I don’t even have to? And who would expect it to be an exclamation point?” At press time, Corey capitalized the first letter of the password to make it foolproof.
