According to her friends, Woonsocket woman Mary Schultz speaks one octave higher than usual on her voicemail message. “It didn’t sound anything like Mary,” reported her friend Louisa after leaving a voicemail for Mary. “You could tell she was smiling hard while she said the whole thing. And her voice jumped a whole nother octave at the end of each sentence.” Sources confirm that even though Schultz’s voicemail message promises she’d get back to Louisa as soon as she could, she never even listened to the message she left.
