BDH Analysis Concludes Harris Lost Election Because Trump Received More Votes In Swing States

Published Friday, December 13th, 2024

New, innovative election analysis from the Brown Daily Herald revealed that Kamala Harris lost the election because she did not receive as many votes as Donald Trump in swing states.

“According to our models, if Kamala Harris had received more votes in states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia, she likely would have won the election,” said Charles van Pelt, a political columnist for the Herald. “Losing those states was a massive lapse in strategy, and it cost her the election.”

“Here’s where she needed to win,” van Pelt said, pointing at a map with the swing states colored in purple to indicate that they were within reach for either Harris or Trump. “This should be a message for the Democratic Party moving forward: You cannot win without these states.”

“Ultimately, I think it will become clear that the problem was that she did not reach 270 electoral votes, whereas Donald Trump did,” added van Pelt, who in October had predicted the election would either go to Trump or to Harris. “Also, according to our simulations, if she had won the combination of Texas, Florida, and California, she likely would have won the election. She only won California.”

At press time, the Herald had uncovered strong evidence that Donald Trump is a convicted felon.
