According to those in attendance at The American Ballet Theatre’s production of Swan Lake, the dancers were all doing the smallest, nicest little kicks. “The dancers would make their feet into the sharpest little points and then would be so thoughtful about where and when they kicked them,” said audience member Anna Healey, “They weren’t big kicks. They were tiny and they were very, very gentle.” At press time, the dancers were doing soft, tight little jumps.
