Following a recent hangout, your Brown OnCall Shuttle-like friend Talia has promised to take you home safely if you wait approximately 30 minutes.
“I can provide you with point-to-point transportation to and from areas not accommodated by the Brown Evening Shuttle route after 7 PM (5 PM after Daylight Savings Time ends in November) as part of my commitment to a safe and secure campus environment,” said Talia, requesting to see your Brown ID before walking with you. “Like other Brown University Shuttle services, my service is available to all Brown University students (including Brown/RISD dual-degree students), faculty, and staff members.”
“Please keep in mind that I am meant to provide safe transportation for locations within the greater campus area but outside of the Evening Shuttle route; check the route before booking a ride,” continued Talia before asking if you have a guest, and if so, you must indicate that before you can walk with her. “If you are traveling late at night, please ensure that you can get to your final destination before my service ends. Wait times are generally 30 minutes, but this may vary depending on weather conditions, traffic, and call volume at a particular time.”
