Amid the release of the spring UCS survey, CCB announced that they are planning on leaving UCS but totally get it if no one cares.
“CCB provides invaluable resources for the campus community through events and elections, which is why we must become independent,” said junior class CCB President Indigo Breyers, inviting every one of his Facebook friends to like CCB’s upcoming Zoom dance marathon. “But we totally get it if nobody cares. You do your thing and we do ours. Really, it’s ok.”
“Students on campus must know how important it is that CCB becomes an equal branch of student government to increase our ability to do good on campus,” continued Breyers, handing out CCB election flyers to passersby largely ignoring his presence. “But like, don’t worry about it if that just went in one ear and out the other. Not a big deal if we basically don’t exist to you — we really get it."
At press time, CCB announced plans to host a basket weaving webinar but it’s totally fine if you don’t want to come.
