Campus Photographer To Make School Look 200x More Diverse

Published Friday, December 16th, 2022

Campus photographer Arnie Shaws reported that most of his job consists of making this school appear way more diverse than it actually is.

“I snap a quick photo of the first Black student I see and trail behind them until they reach their next destination, assuming they’ll take me to the most diverse areas on campus,” said Shaws. “Unfortunately, the student I followed today was heading to her computer science class.”

“I decided to just photoshop her into the classroom ten more times with different hairstyles,” said Shaws, pointing to the photographs he was editing on his computer screen. “If that becomes too obvious, I’ll photoshop in the minority students I have in my archives. The Hispanic student in the back of this chemistry lab, for example, graduated ten years ago with a degree in Visual Arts.”

At press time, Shaws was seen photoshopping women into photographs for the Engineering Department’s brochure.
