Beginning a socially distant conversation from six feet apart, two friends reportedly began circling closer together like a binary star system.
“Jen! It’s been so long, you look great,” said Patrick Haley as he and his friend Jen began orbiting counterclockwise around a common center of mass like an awe-inspiring astronomical phenomenon. “We should totally do a socially distanced lunch sometime!”
“I’d love that Pat!” responded Jennifer Grey, participating in that great celestial dance around their barycenter, the constant give and take of twin orbs in the night. “How does Wednesday work?”
By the time the conversation was over, the two friends’ masses had transferred to one another and accreted into one larger body.
