DPS Officer Can't Get Siren to Stop Doing That

Published Friday, December 7th, 2012

Department of Public Safety Officer Lt. Eric Hall was reportedly having a little trouble getting the siren on his 2006 Ford cruiser to stop doing that.

According to Hall, the siren has been doing that on and off all morning, but this is really the worst it has been. He also insists that people should not worry, because he will have it figured out in no time and be on his way.

A DPS officer for 11 years, Hall has really only had this problem with new technology, and the siren only seems to be doing that when he is the only one in the car, which of course is just perfect.

Yes, he has tried toggling the switch under the dash, and yes, he has turned the engine off and then back on again. Hall says that while those suggestions are certainly helpful, rolling your eyes and muttering under your breath really isn’t.

A visibly flustered Hall further requested that nobody tell any of the other guys back at the station about this.
