Gasping in shock before the premiere of her play, director Bobbi McKenna realized that she had forgotten to make the play make sense.
“It just completely slipped my mind that I had to make the plot clear,” continued McKenna, burying her face in her hands after realizing that her play was just stylized nonsense. “And that the actors’ actions were supposed to have something to do with what they were saying.”
“Damn,” she said, frantically pacing back and forth, “I totally forgot that an audience was coming and that I was supposed to make them be able to understand what was happening on stage.”
“Fuck, that also reminds me that I was supposed to be intentional about all of this,” Mckenna added.
“Well, the show must go on.”
