Discussion Of Weather Enters Seventh Sentence

Published Sunday, October 27th, 2013

A discussion of the weather between Kara Feinman ‘17 and Jill McAdams ‘17 has reportedly entered its seventh sentence. Sources confirm that Feinman started the now two-minute exchange with McAdams on Simmons Quad, remarking on “how cold it’s been lately” and how “just last month” it was “almost 20 degrees warmer.” Since then, the two have covered their respective opinions on rain, autumn leaves, the inability to work outside, puddles, the likelihood of it raining later today, slippery sidewalks, and the disappearance of “shorts weather.” Despite going strong for the first six sentences, the conversation has been stalled since McAdams offered that she “misses sunshine," an admission to which Feinman has apparently been unable to muster a reply. It remains unclear whether this pause in conversation is owed to disagreement on the part of Feinman, or the fact that she just took a bite of a granola bar. At press time, Feinman and McAdams could not be reached for comment, as they had moved on to earnestly discussing how “excited [they are] for the weekend.”
