Recent reports indicate that the dual degree student you know identifies as socially RISD and fiscally Brown.
“Yeah, I get the whole artist struggle… but I’m not just an artist,” said Xander Fieldman after coughing from his cigarette, a fifth-year dual degree student studying Painting at RISD and Econ at Brown. “It’s like, I’m really happy you’re happy your art portfolio got you into an unpaid artist residency in Milwaukee, but like, my stock portfolio just got me recruited at Goldman Sachs.”
“But I love my RISD freaks—I mean, friends,” Xander added while handing out his business card to a well-dressed passerby. “I’ve been able to make a substantial profit reselling the vintage designer items they sniff out for me at thrift stores. But really, it’s so great being surrounded by such talented people. The stuff they make? Incredible. I can’t wait to buy their work and then immediately donate it for tax write-offs in the future.”
At press time, a PLME identified as socially awkward and fiscally in debt.
