At Goldman Sachs’ Fall 2018 recruiting session, sophomore Economics concentrator Mike Lewis showed up in a full tuxedo, sources report.
“In order to network successfully, you have to make an impression,” Lewis said, adding, "This was just a logical and completely reasonable response to the situation. I even spritzed a little cologne on the cuffs. And this bowtie? 100% silk.”
Fellow attendees were reportedly envious of Lewis’ fashion statement.
“I should’ve done that!” admitted BEO/CS concentrator Ernie Bright. “I thought a tie with a sports coat and khakis was business casual, but I knew I should’ve thrown on that cravat I was saving for McKinsey. He’s totally convinced the junior analysts to hire him now.”
At press time, Lewis bought a vintage top hat for his upcoming interview.
