Fifth graders at a local middle school dance are about to get turnt to Radioactive by Imagine Dragons.

“LET’S GOOOOOOO!” announced local fifth grader Caiden Stanley as the opening notes of the song blared over the speakers. “This is a bop!"

“It’s about to be lit!” Stanley added, hitting a Fortnite dance next to a plastic bowl of pretzels. “This DJ is playing straight bangers. Maybe he’ll play I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas. Ooh, do you think he has any OneRepublic?”

“I wonder if Mr. Beast listens to Imagine Dragons,” Elsie McBride pondered, setting up her phone for a TikTok dance. “Who doesn’t like Radio-freakin-active?”

“EEEEEEEEEEE!” screamed McBride at the first beat of What Makes You Beautiful, rushing to the front of the makeshift dance circle to watch Stanley griddy before attempting the worm. “Wow, this night was a movie!”

At press time, the fifth graders were hiding in the bathroom during the slow song.
