According to witness reports at the time of a robbery this past Saturday, the getaway car had a notably large assortment of bumper stickers.
“It was truly an eclectic mix,” commented baffled bystander Gerry Plant. “’I Love My Farmer’” was plastered right next to one that said, ‘Reading is Sexy.’”
Given other reports during the incident, possible political or social affiliations of the car in question remain entirely unclear.
“I mean, one said ‘Snoopy for President’ while another one read, ‘This Nasty Woman Votes,’" remembered Plant, clearly confused. “You’d think that a getaway car should be inconspicuous, but I guess the robbers just have a lot of causes they’re passionate about.”
While recollections of the car’s license plate offer conflicting accounts, witnesses agree the vanity plate said something groovy like “CRUZEN” or “K9-LUVR.”
