Following a recent lurk through other people’s Venmo histories, first year Amelia McCauley was wondering if there’s a party at “Pork Roll!” this weekend.
“Hey girl! How’ve you been?” started the text McCauley sent to that one guy she shopped a class with. “Listen, are you going to Pork Roll this Friday? I’m soooo excited! They always have the craziest parties there.”
“Oh, you’re not going? I thought you would be going, haha,” continued the text chain as it got dangerously close to stalker territory. “Oh, what is it? It’s that thing Deli is hosting. I think you might have Venmoed at 12:13 PM on Tuesday? Haha. Do you think it’ll be fun? Where is it, by the way? Haha.”
At press time, McCauley asked her friend’s boyfriend’s roommate’s friend if he knew where the new hockey house was.
