Junior Jessie Bauer has been acting like her time is as precious as the Pope’s while scheduling 35-minute meals on GCal with friends.
“I’ve just been super, super busy lately with classes and clubs, but how does a 35-minute Vdub lunch sound? I have an opening on the 7th of next month at like 2:20 pm,” suggested Bauer, threatening to offer that time slot to someone else if her friend did not confirm their plans within the next 5 minutes. “I don’t mean for our friendship to feel so structured, but tons of people are trying to schedule meals with me and frankly, my time is incredibly valuable.”
“I know, I know: 35 minutes is a short time, but I’m a busy gal-what can I say” continued Bauer as she sent out a GCal invite for their meal and impatiently waited for her friend to confirm yes to the notification on the spot. “But I am thrilled to catch up and fill you in on everything that has been going on in my busy, action-packed life. Let’s just say there is a lot to discuss-on my part.”
At press time, Rivera was excited to “totally do this again!” sometime before graduation in two years, assuming her busy schedule permitted.
