Citing the fact that he was wearing those black canvas slipper things and carrying a small leather backpack with something Scandinavian written on it, area dad Daniel Berman reported Wednesday that the guy over there in the fitted pants must be from Europe or something.
“Those can’t be comfortable. It’s like 85 degrees out and humid as all getout,” said Berman. “They do that all the time in Europe. I don’t get it, but they must think it looks good or something. When I went Italy last summer, all the young guys were wearing scarves in August, for Christ’s sake.”
Fueling speculation as to whether the stranger hailed from Prague, London, or Milan, Berman noted that his blonde hair looked like he just rolled out of bed and that his faded cotton T-shirt also looked uncomfortably tight.
“That’s a very popular look in Europe,” added Berman.
Berman further confirmed that he was walking in such a way that his hips kind of moved more than necessary and that he clearly knew where he was going, so he’d probably been here for a while.
“Yeah, definitely Europe,” Berman said.
At press time, Berman’s suspicions had been confirmed when the individual ordered a shish kebab and a Coca Cola by name in thickly accented English from a nearby food truck.
