Savoring the final days of fall, junior Aidan Shay has been spotted hanging out on the Main Green in temperatures as low as thirty degrees.
“I know that I should be in the library right now, but how can I spend the whole day inside when it’s just barely freezing out here?” said Shay, spreading a picnic blanket across the frost-covered grass. “There won’t be many more days like this one until spring, and I fully intend on enjoying the outdoors while I still can!”
Following through on his promise, Shay made the most of his time on the Main Green, managing to squeeze in three hours of relaxation and fun before the sun set at 4:36 PM.
“The conditions today are absolutely perfect for recreational activities,” assured Shay, forcefully securing his Spikeball net into the frozen ground. “There are only a few people outside, so no one will disturb this totally sick game of Spikeball that’s about to go down. I texted my friends an hour ago. They should be here any minute!”
At press time, Shay announced his plans to savor the final moments of winter by building snowmen in the dirty March slush.
