What a day! Wow, a real busy one this turned out to be! I got a real early start at 9:30. I went for a pee, and then I needed a little nap, because it was an early start, after all. Then I went for a walk, and I had to chase that squirrel that was invading our yard. Really tuckered myself out with that one, so I took a little nap. Then, I ate a good breakfast, which absolutely drained me. I was going to take a rest after that one, but then the mailman had the audacity to bring a package to the door! Justice never sleeps, and he was clearly trying to invade our home so that was my number one priority. I may not have a corporate job, but I sure was working today! By the time I was done barking at the mailman, I was exhausted. So then I just napped on the couch for a little bit, but then there were some deer in the yard so I barked at them. I also barked at that neighbor dog, Rex. He is the worst. Always trying to pee on our lawn. Unreal. So once I protected us from that, it really turned out to be quite a full day. Just because I’m not the main breadwinner in this house doesn’t mean I am not taking care of this family. I saved us from so many different threats! So I really earned the fourth nap I ended up taking. And the naps really drain ya! It is tough bearing so many responsibilities. Today was a long one. Might get to sleep a little early tonight to rest up for what will surely be another busy day tomorrow.
