Helicopter Parent Kills 10 in Totally Embarrassing Fiery Crash

Published Friday, December 7th, 2012

Onlookers described the scene as “mortifying” when local helicopter parent Cornelia Jacobson refused to leave her teenage daughter Becky alone, slamming her 12-ton metal chassis into a crowd of Becky’s friends.

Jacobson, who is a Boeing CH-47 Chinook often used for Special Forces training exercises, was heard telling her daughter the proper way to fold her socks minutes before the crash that killed 10.

Becky Jacobson said she was “completely ashamed” about the muddy field of flaming wreckage and twisted metal that now occupies the parking lot where Becky and her friends once gathered to smoke cigarettes at lunch time.

“I totally swear she’s not like that all the time,” Becky told mourners at Craig Strauss’ memorial service Wednesday.

“She just can’t leave me alone,” she said. “Like, I can’t go two seconds without her calling me to see where I am or to ask me if I changed the oil in my drive shaft.”

“She called me to complain about the grade Becky received in my class last year,” said history teacher Alan Bloedel. “I couldn’t hear her over the thumping din of her rotors.”

The incident is the deadliest such incident since Seattle-area helicopter parent Edith Jaffe sat in on her son’s job interview and decapitated Amazon’s vice president of Software Engineering.

In related news, tiger mom Nishino Kurosawa is also currently wanted by police for a brutal mauling after escaping her enclosure in the Indianapolis Zoo.
