Sources report that Todd Anderson, a junior with off-campus privileges, is repeating “sublet” like he’s on an HGTV show.
“Our budget was limited, but we really wanted a place that was move-in ready,” Anderson explained as if he were on a reality television show about home buying. “My friends and I found this great sublet on Thayer next to some other cute sublets that some of our other friends are subletting. It’s a charming little house with so much potential. Definitely a diamond in the rough, but it has that special je ne sais quoi you know?”
“This one has great bones… Oh, the crown molding on this one is spectacular,” Anderson mused, scrolling through the Brown Buying and Selling Facebook page with the authority of a Property Brother. “The floorplan here is a little sloppy. Our sublet utilizes the square footage much better. It has a nice open space concept, and the natural lighting is off the charts.”
“Location, location, location,” Anderson repeated with a declarative flick of the wrist. “You really can’t beat it. Our sublet has easy access to the rugby house and the crew house. It also has a cozy mid-century modern feel to it that I’m just absolutely in love with.”
At press time, Anderson asked if anyone else was subletting. No, just him? Ah, too bad.
