Local magician Mauricio the Magnificent has been getting frustrated with his normal routine, sources report.
“I just want to know what it’d be like to be the center of attention instead of the one handling all the logistics behind the magic,” Mauricio was heard saying to longtime assistant Crystal. “We’ve been doing this trick the same way for years – why not switch it up a bit?”
“One time when I was backstage," reports Crystal, “I saw him get into the box where I normally go to get cut in half. He didn’t really do anything, except he lay there for a second and just looked peaceful. This is obviously a big dream of his.”
At press time, Mauricio was trying to fit into his top hat instead of his rabbit.
