Sources report that your mom is thoughtfully selecting a blurry, double-chinned photo of you for an upcoming Facebook post.
“So proud of this one as she heads off to her semester abroad!” wrote your mom, cropping the photo so that your double chin was even more central to the image. “We’ll miss her so much!”
“It seems like just yesterday we were sending her off for the first day of kindergarten,” your mom elaborated, overcome with emotion from this photo of you eating breakfast with unwashed hair and dark circles under your eyes. “Hold on tight to those kids while you still can, mamas.”
“Don’t have too much fun, honey!” concluded your mom in her caption, blissfully unaware that all of her Facebook friends will now think of you in this amorphous, haggard form. “See you in June!”
