Viewers of the two-and-a-half minute commercial for DangerHat Studio’s new installment in the popular “Hero Circle” series expressed frustration that the trailer refused to define the term “cyber-scroll,” despite its multiple appearances and apparent importance.
“Between the 11 of them, the Electro-Warriors mentioned cyber-scrolls probably five times but they never gave context clues,” said Darryl Roberts, who guessed he must have been expected to have picked up the meaning of the word in a previous movie or something. “I think they’re ancient artifacts of incredible power but they might be an example of science finally overtaking God. Honestly, I have no idea.”
Though split on whether the mysterious scrolls should be entrusted to the government group G.L.A.S.G.O.W. or directly to the Electro-Warriors, confused viewers largely agreed that they should be kept out of the hands of Emperor Zioran, who was almost certainly trying to gather them in one place for what must be nefarious purposes.
“I think the handsome guy was about to say what they were, but then he was sucker-punched by the rugged character with the scar," said Hannah Yarrow, noting that both characters were wearing what she assumed was cyber-armor. “That seemed like a moment I was supposed to laugh at. I think I would’ve laughed at it if I knew what cyber-scrolls were.”
“Hero Circle: At The Edge of Time” is expected to shatter box office records.
