According to a recent report out of Vartan Gregorian elementary school, Maddie sang “Firework” at the talent show and everyone knew it was about Kayden.

“I really love Katy Perry and I want to be a singer when I grow up, so I sang “Firework” because of that,” explained fifth grader Madelyn “Maddie” Sheir, ignoring the fact that everyone already knows she sang “Firework” because she has a big fat crush on Kayden. “It was between that and ‘Teenage Dream.’”

“The song is just super good and catchy and I wasn’t even really thinking about the lyrics when I chose it,” explained Maddie, unwilling to admit that she actually sang it about Kayden and she probably wants to kiss him on the lips. “I was just having fun and I wasn’t thinking about him.”

“I don’t even know if Kayden was in the auditorium to be honest with you,” added Maddie, who everyone saw looking at Kayden while she sang the chorus. “I don’t even really care if he heard it or noticed me or loved it or still thinks about it.”

At press time, the class Guinea Pig ran away and everyone knew it was at Stevie’s house that weekend.
