Scanning the sides of the Blue Room for any signs of people clearing their trash, sophomore Nicole Briggs spent a half hour paying her dues at a Blue Room table until a booth opened up. “I just have to do my time and wait it out here until I see someone start to pack up,” explained Briggs, “Sure, there are some people who have all the luck in the world and can walk in here at the right time and get a booth right off the bat. But they’re the exceptions. I’m not above waiting. I know I’ve gotta work my way up to a booth.”At press time, Briggs was packing everything into her backpack just in case someone left a booth and she had to move quickly.
