Students emerging from the first class of Introduction to Philosophy expressed disappointment with their professor’s statement that he will learn just as much from them as they’ll learn from him. “It sort of seems like an unfair deal,” said Junior Ravi Harris. “I wasn’t planning on teaching the professor anything. Originally I thought I’d learn a lot from this class, but apparently he expects to learn from me too and I know nothing. That’s why I’m taking this class. I don’t think either of us are gonna get much out of this.” At press time, the students were bringing absolutely nothing to the table.
