According to seventh grader Timothy Rakowski’s history paper, the world would not be the same without Martin Luther King Jr.
“Martin Luther King Jr. definitely changed the world,” Rakowski stated at the start of his one-page essay on the American civil rights leader. “He changed the world in so many ways and made it much better.”
Rakowski explained that though many tried to stop King, he didn’t give up.
“MLK was determined to change things, even though a lot of people didn’t want that,” Rakowski noted in his third and final paragraph. “But MLK was successful. The world is a completely different place now because of this.”
At press time, Rakowski reported that the Civil War had a big effect on America.
