Pulling out a number of old-timey looking pitch pipes and blowing into them to humanely tranquilize the pests, a group of a cappella exterminators swept through Wayland Arch Monday to clear out an infestation of singers that had taken root as part of A Day on College Hill. “It’s hard work to keep these suckers at bay,” one exterminator replied, before sweeping three Brown Derbies members off the floor and into a large plastic bag. "Especially this time of year—ADOCH is when they’re most likely to swarm. But they’re a big nuisance and someone’s got to get the job done.” At press time, the exterminators were seen turning their big van off Thayer Street and approaching Pembroke Arch.
