After an incredibly strenuous summer internship, junior Jake Johnson is just happy to have a better standing for next year’s internship hiring process. “Some of my friends told me they got paid for their internships, but at least I’ll be able to get another unpaid internship next summer more easily,” said Jake as he clutched a cup of coffee and perused Brown Connect. “I would’ve asked to maybe get some college credit but I never got to speak to any of my coworkers. They’ll still write me a recommendation though, to help me continue to get unpaid work in the future.” At press time, Jake reached out telling readers not to worry about him because he’s already independently wealthy.
