Sources report that the Washington Post’s “Daily Digest” newsletter offers grim images of the recent hurricane in Indonesia and a recipe for easy-to-make artichoke dip.
“The devastation on the island of Bali is unbelievable,” read the most recent Digest. “And that’s not the only thing that’s unbelievable. Take the oven time on this artichoke dip. Fifteen minutes on 450, and you’ll be serving up an aperitif that should have the neighbors begging for your secret.”
The Digest offered up several other “Weekend Reads,” including 5 New Year’s resolutions you can actually keep, a Valentine’s Day gift guide, and horrifying images of a recent Mediterranean shipwreck.
“The unrest in Kazakhstan has been brewing for months,” read the Tuesday edition of the Digest. “And so have the craft beers that our beverage editors selected to help you ring in the spring. You can pair them with steak or fish! Here is the aftermath of a drone strike in Lebanon.”
