What Do Tapioca Moms, Gerber Babies, and SeaWorld Employees All Have In Common? They’re Voting Blocs To Watch In 2024. Let’s Check The Map.

In the Midwest, we expect to see Tapioca Moms shaping the way important Rust Belt swing states like Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin look for Biden. These moms, deemed Tapioca Moms because of their sensitivity to economic changes that cause price swings in staple treats for their grimey little children, including pudding, yogurt, and tapioca, are expected to be a bellwether come November.

Gerber Babies are another small but devoted group of voters who have, election after election, shown their ability to mobilize for the Democratic Party and deliver wins in the country’s more right-leaning swing states. Composed of every child actor who ever portrayed the Gerber Life Insurance Gerber Baby in any corporate promotional materials, the Gerber Babies are a passionate and organized voting bloc. While their interests and general political ideology are still disputed among political pundits, they are a steadfast and reliable group that could give Biden the edge in states like New Mexico and North Carolina.

As the second largest employer in the state of Florida, SeaWorld and its employees are a crucial group to watch in the polls in the months leading up to the 2024 election. Generally single-issue voters, SeaWorld Employees tend to align with whichever candidate more fervently acknowledges that what they do at work doesn’t define them and that even though they work at SeaWorld, people should treat them normally and not try to be a hero and bring up the animal rights thing. SeaWorld Employees are a must-win constituency for any presidential hopeful with their sights set on winning Florida.

As the 2024 election creeps closer, it’s time we started honing in on the real linchpins in Biden’s coalition as he continues to fight for those 270 delegates.
